A lot of people these days merely wait for things to come to us. A lot of them don’t try to work for what it is that they want. But you’ll never get what you want unless you work for it. And in the end you can tell yourself “I’ve worked hard for this. I’ve deserved this and nobody can tell me otherwise.” So don’t give up. Be proud of what you’ve done and how far you’ve come. And even if you haven’t quite reached your goal, remember to tell yourself to keep going. Look at how far you’ve come rather than how far you have to go. What you want is worth it. Things have a way of working out the way it’s supposed to. So never think that you’re going down the wrong path. Maybe you’ve just taken a detour, but you’ll soon be back where you need to be. |

If we want to be more content with ourselves, then we need to learn how to be grateful for the things we have in this life. If we want to create more abundance in our lives, we need to be grateful for the abundance we already have in our lives. If we want to create more love in our lives, we need to first notice and be grateful for the love that is already present in our lives. It can be difficult to be grateful and have abundant thoughts when we are struggling to make ends meet. It can be even harder to notice the love in our lives when we are feeling lonely and isolated. However, it is important to be grateful during difficult times even more than during easier times…If we can focus on being grateful for things we already have in our lives, we can then create the energy of gratitude, which in turn brings more good to our lives. Most of us unconsciously create things we don’t want by focusing on the thought of not having. I Know it can be difficult to focus on good in our lives when we feel we don’t have what we want, but unless we focus on what we want to create, we cannot create it. The way to focus on what we want is by being grateful for what we already have, that way we can go after our dreams accordingly. I would encourage you to try and be grateful for what you have, and see how the quality of your life improves one day at a time. Starting today, promise yourself to be grateful.

There is something very romantic about a dysfunctional relationship. They are passionate. You scream, cry, rage out. Then you spill your heart out on the floor, kiss and then make up. It’s an everlasting cycle. But you just don’t know how to let go? Because this person gives you everything you need. They are your security. But they are also your pain. Your anger. Your torment, most of all. Maybe it’s that masochistic trigger within us all, telling us that this is what we want.
The product of it all is such a romantic scene. It’s like a film in real time that never stops reeling.
